RIP Stephen Hawking

Post by Gomer » Wed Mar 14, 2018 8:49 am

Visionary physicist dies aged 76

It's sad losing one of the greatest scientific minds of our time, but the guy was handed a death sentence at 21 and soldiered on for another 55 years - that's something to be happy about.

It’s definitely sad, but also something of a miracle that he lived as long as he did. Dude was using his noggin until the very end and will certainly be a loss for the scientific community, if not humanity as a whole.

It’s actaully difficult for me to conceive of a world without him. It just feels... wrong. Fairly certain he’s left an impression on humanity for the foreseeable future, so in a way he’ll still be around.
